Any guess on why they are working on the petitions in this way????

Outside of "that's just the way USCIS works" - it's also likely because it brings the average wait time down. That's just my theory, though

As said above one of the reasons seems like the average wait time.

another one is what I always say, not every cases background checks and other preparations for initial adjudication are done at the same time or it takes the same amount of time.

so the question becomes would anyone like to wait till every single check, rfe and anything else get a result before moving to next day? Because if it was that way we wouldn't be even talking about this.

let alone august, july or even june and May wouldn't have started (actually I'm sure even april wouldn't have started...)

so just lets let this go and accept it as t is (as unfortunately nothing seems to help) and see what this month will bring to us :)

Ahahha thanks I'm really ok. If I can't wake up I won't but I want to give an update before I go to work! So as long as I can I'll do the midday updates.

however as today is just another day with no updates at all (same in June and july) I'm really excitedly waiting to see Friday! Sometimes they do backdated updates too. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I think for Naes, doing a scan before work is like for some of us need our coffee before we get up and get ready for work xD

I have a question. For the i134 does the embassy keep that? Or they give it back and we need to file it when fiance is in usa?

Why do you need to file it in US? That's a different form for AOS.

also if they take it they keep it.

I'm just thinking if it's not filed through uscis it's not in effect? So why do they even make us do it?

Not everything has to go through uscis.

I-134 is not binding but a preparation for them to check if you'll be able to make it without beneficiary becoming public charge, the next form will be binding when you fill for AOS. However because k1 suppose to be immigration intended but non-immigrant visa they are not binding the petitioner yet. Because if they do it, and the beneficiary decides not to get married when arrived in US, you'd be responsible for them. So with this form, they are checking but sponsor has no responsibility in case the marriage doesn't occur, and the beneficiary has to go back to their country.
