I wonder if I am the only person who is more worried about what he will do for 4 to 6 months during AOS than I am about waiting for the NOA2 – Not financial really, Just that I am a busy kind of person and I hate sitting about.

But still, I hope for some news this month :)

I am worried too. My fiancé is a busy person. He rarely sits down. He likes to cook and clean. He can catch the bus where I live and there are things within walking distance. I think he will be okay for a few month. Plus just adjusting to the culture may be a lot, so having the time to navigate will be good.

Funny how the first 5 months kinda flew by, and these final 5-ish weeks seem to take forever to pass... 😜

Honestly silently getting a little bit more antsy each day... I’m an August 15 filer whose wedding date is set for the end of July (I know, I know).

Also, we are likely to get an RFE (oh how I wish I’d found these boards sooner!), which makes everything a bit more challenging... I feel like I’m living in an action/thriller movie! Lol

Jokes aside, we are hopeful everything will work out just fine. We have been trying our best to keep optimistic.

“This too shall pass.” Amor omnia vincit (love conquers all)!

I think that the comparison between this and an action/thriller movie is accurate, except we are trying to explain it to people as it is happening and no one else gets the gist of the plot and we aren’t sure if we will get paid at the end or the director will call, “Cut!” and we have to start filming again.

question.... uscis website where you check case status, says "received" when and if they approve it will the status page change to "approved" before or after I get the official letter in the mail? trying to determine which comes first . hard copy or the site status page

"Normally" it changes first and they send the copy.

but lately, it doesn't change, and you get a hard copy and learn that way. These are usually dated 1 week before as noa2 date. But case status never changes.

If there's an update it will show on the scan, and if you start seeing your date appear in the scans then checking the page makes sense.

today they didn't update anything so far in any month.

Hey guys, some people who got approved on February 5 is getting no-updated approvals in mail, so especially August 1 filers don't forget to check your mail boxes.

(apparently even informed delivery didn't show)

So for 4 days now I wake up at 4-5 am to put the scan... I'm thinking of not doing it tomorrow.. Reverse psychology!! What do you guys think?

by the Murphy's law this can be the key to get those updates online!

Dear Naes, your scan work is really important for us all, but you being healthy and well-rested is far more important. You’ve been sleeping too little... How about  sleeping in for a change? Please do the noon scan, though... 😜 😂
