How long after filing taxes are tax return transcripts available through IRS.gov?

I took an extension on my 2016 taxes and filed them about two weeks ago.

 

Does anyone know how long it takes for one's tax return transcript to become available to order via the IRS' Get Transcript by Mail webpage? Currently it tells me my 2016 tax return transcript isn't available and the page directs me a drop-down menu where I can order previous years' returns.

If you filed your tax return electronically, it takes from 2 to 4 weeks before a transcript becomes available. If you mailed your tax return, it takes about 6 weeks.
