Ok here’s my “ secret”

When I applied for the Lifting of Conditions my son’s father accused me of a fraudulent marriage . He wanted me and my son out of the US to avoid paying child support.

So I got a nice little letter from the USCIS .

i contacted Patty Murray and submitted ungodly amounts of evidence among that letters from theDepartment of Veterans Affairs since I am my wounded warriors Caregiver.

If anything that may have put me on the fast track this time.

We are still married and I am still his Caregiver through the VA,therefore USCIS has no reason to question my motives.

Guess being married to a disabled Veteran has a few benefits...

It's very possible that contacting Patty Murray may have helped you to fast-track your application!  

 

It's also very possible that USCIS is processing your case faster since you're married to a veteran!   

 

It's also possible that since you applied online and you became a permanent resident in 09, they're processing your case faster.  

 

It's also possible that an immigration officer pulled your file and processed it for a training purpose so you got lucky!  

 

It MIGHT be possible that the Seattle office is processing cases faster now!

I do indeed feel very lucky!!

We usually go on a short trip to Los Angeles for our anniversary and figured we couldn’t book this time cause we thought interview may be around May...

I’m very excited and it’s been a long time coming!

I am in Chicago, and I submitted my N400 in August, now I am waiting to be placed in line for the interview.

I was worried it took so long and i didn't hear anything yet. but seeing others in Chicago also waiting for the interview, I felt a little better. 

by the way, how do I updated the master chart? I want to make sure I follow the instruction.

Normal signature same as you did at biometrics. You can see your biometrics time signature next to the photo in new Naturalization certificate.

N-400 July 31, 2017.

I-751 (CSC) July 25, 2016.

 

Today, I received a response from my Senator’s office:

 

“XYZ’s . . . N400 . . . is [in] queue for interview with the Tampa Field Office; the Tampa Field Office is currently processing N-400 applications that were received on or before February 10, 2017. We anticipate that XYZ will be scheduled for an interview within the next 90 days.

 

Also, XYZ’s I-751 application . . . was consolidated into his permanent file. The I-751 was a joint filing, so once an interview is scheduled for the N-400, both applications will be processed and adjudicated at the same time during the interview. It is recommended that when XYZ appears for the interview that his spouse accompanied him.”
