That means for people they have to send evidence must fill their application by mail because if I fill online I can't attach my evidence to my application is that right?

That is probably right. To attach evidence with your application just doesn't seem right to me.

@Zombie69, I would be cautious giving people advice without properly stating that you did not go through the specific experience. This is a perfect example, since the online application actually does allow for pretty easy evidence uploading (albeit occasionally wonky, see below for full description).

I appreciate your help

thank you so much for your advise

@alainstyle1, I just submitted my application online earlier today and there's a whole section for evidence attachment. The section allows you to upload files in different formats (PDF, JPG, JPEG, TIF, etc.) and 5 at a time. There's a drag-and-drop area or alternatively a "click here to choose the file path". My 2 cents are go with the latter, because the drag-and-drop was a little wonky for me (doing duplicate uploads of the same document when I dragged and dropped more than one). So I ended up uploading one or two using the "choose file path" link, going to a different page on the application and then back to the evidence section to verify the prior document was properly uploaded.

My other 2 cents are to scan your documents properly with a scanner (instead of iphone) so they're more easily read. If you don't have a scanner at home/work, I'd say go to a FedEx Kinkos or a similar office center. I'm only recommending this, because the officer reviewing your case will probably appreciate a more-easily read doc, and you'd avoid the risk of an RFE if one of your docs is illegible. Again, just personal opinion/speculation on that point.

Hope this helps.

I did. Scroll up and see what i wrote. I did give him the disclaimer. I told him he'd better ask people with experience and legal experts, so I was very careful. I already filed mine via the traditional way of mailing it. I would also be careful in giving out people advise too just because you filed the way you did, doesn't necessarily mean it was properly filed. I have not checked the instructions, but it is just kind of the common sense that it might make the adjudicator more difficult to have to open everything piece of evidence on line, but of course I could be easily wrong. I would seek advice of an USCIS agent or a legal expert/counsel. I assume you did not hire a lawyee.

Disclaimer. I was having a conversation with a blogger here about how to send evidence with the online 400 application. Just want to emphasize that I am not an expert and I filed my traditionally with standard mailing, and I do have a lawyer. I just want to make it clear that whatever I have advised so far is purely speculation and my personal opinion and should not be used as legal advice. However, i did advised the buddy to seek professional help or people with experience. I wanted to clarify that before another blogger falsely criiticizes me of not being careful enough about giving out suggestions. Applicants here should seek legal advice by asking either legal counsels or USCIS agents if you are not clear about certain issues. Good luck to you all and myself included.:)

I went to Kinkos and had them shrink my files to fit the 6 MB max. So I was able to upload all I wanted to submit.

Looking at the July N-400 filers forum, it looks like people have been reporting receiving their NOA anywhere from 2 days before the check cash to up to 7 days after the check cash. I had my check cash yesterday from Chicago but no NOA yet. Give it a few more days.

Oh Thanks, I just got a text/email with my receipt # and that my case been routed to NBC, so trying not to bother myself too much on this whole immigration process, especially with a pending I-751.
