It was processing Dec 15, 2016 as of August 31, 2017

It is now processing Dec 25, 2016 as of September 30, 2017

 

10 days of processing in a month!!! Really?? :protest:

if you applied on line, then you have in general a greater chance of getting an interview date in a month or two depending on the field office. The chart does mean something if you apply on paper, the chart of course might not mean much to some who already got their interview dates, but i believe the majority of on line filers, even the ones who already got their interview dates feel for the paper filers, most people here are supportive which i think it is great, but in any event, your patience will be rewarded in the end, and it looks like your field office has slowed down for some reason. Austincanada has mentioned that so far none of the online filers in your office have gotten any interview dates though, it is just a bit slow compared to other field offices. Good luck. At least so far, your field office seems to have a good balance of processing on line and paper filers, but i do hope they will pick up normal speed of peocessing soon. I remember you filed on paper.:)

Approved. The IO was deaf and had an interpreter so that was a bit of a curveball but it actually made it easier as I wasn’t afraid of giving short answers. Haha

Did you apply in August as well? I applied in September, I have no hope for another 6-8 months :( 

 

Do they really schedule the interviews by the order they received our papers? I mean there are people still in line for interview since last April !! Not sure how it works... 

 

Also i am a paper filer, do i get an email/text message when my interview is scheduled? or I just get a letter in mail?  My status says in line for interview...
