About 6 months waiting to get the interview letter for SF N400 applicants.

N-400 Timeline San Francisco field office (Marriage with an US citizen and 3 year of LPR):

ELIS: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

EGOV: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

08/15/2017 (day 000): N-400 application was filed online on ELIS

08/22/2017 (day 007): Biometrics appointment was scheduled for 9/8/2017 

08/28/2017 (day 013): Early walk-in biometrics was completed

01/03/2018 (day 141): Interview appointment was scheduled for 2/6/2018

02/06/2018 (day 175): Interview was completed and the case was recommended for approval

02/12/2018 (day 181): Oath ceremony was scheduled for 3/15/2018

03/15/2018 (day 214): Oath ceremony was competed and I am an US citizen!

Wow, you are an early July 751 filer with 400 pending. Did you file on line or paper? Congratulations, I think that means you probably will get the interview letter soon.

I751 is still pending. I filed my N400 online. i hope i get it soon so i can put it in to get the day off.

Most likely you won't get a 751 approval until the interview. Your goal is 400 anyway. Congrats. Filing on line obviously is the only way one could get a super fast interview date.

Since it is Thursday, you will have your PDF in your account on Monday.  It takes 2-3 business days for it to show in your documents tab.  You will get another interview letter in the mail, and that took about a week to get it.  

 

I know what you mean, immediately put in for a couple of days off for the interview.

SF filer here.  Took me exactly 6 months from being in line (3/28/17) to actual interview date (9/27/17).  Oath is on 11/9/17 :D  254 days total processing time from submitting N-400 to Oath.

Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400 interview.

Looks like Orlando, FL also processes online filers faster than paper filers because the current processing time says they are backlogged till Nov, 2016 and this was recently updated (couple days back).

  • (DAY 00) 08/07/2017 - N-400 Filed Online (Filed exactly 90 days before 5 year Greencard anniversary)
  • (DAY 00) 08/07/2017 - ELIS status "We received your application". IOE Case number assigned. Priority Date 08/05/2017
  • (DAY 05) 08/12/2017 - ELIS status  "We scheduled your Biometrics appointment"
  • (DAY 07) 08/14/2017 - Biometrics Appointment PDF Posted (Scheduled Appointment Date 09/01/2017)
  • (DAY 08) 08/15/2017 - Biometrics Appointment Completed Early (Walk-In)
  • (DAY 08) 08/15/2017 - ELIS status  "We Reviewed Your Biometrics"
  • (DAY 23) 08/30/2017 - ELIS status  "Interview Scheduled - USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the interview notice "
  • (DAY 49) 09/25/2017 - ELIS status reverted back to "We Reviewed Your Biometrics" after the ELIS website redesign
