According to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do, it takes about 8.5 months for the Seattle office to approve an N-400 application.  :clock:

I am not sure how reliable are time estimates on that website.  The estimate for Oklahoma City is around 11 months but some paper filers got done in 4 to 6 months.

According to the timeline on VisaJourney (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?cfl=&op5=5,10,11), it shows a similar timeline (7-8 months) for the Seattle office as well.  :clock:

I'm looking at the last three filers who had their oath ceremonies in June or July, 2017.  They all applied back in Nov, 2016.

This report shows that there were around 12000 pending naturalization application in Seattle in Janurary-March 2017 period. It can somewhat explain the delay. It's still better than Dallas or Huston that had around 27000 pending applications. No wonder many Dallas and Houston applicants from November 2016 haven't even received their interview appointments let alone oath ceremonies.

And it looks like Seattle is only getting worse day by day.

For 3rd Quarter (April - June 2017) there are now 13500 pending cases :(

So, even though Seattle is averaging 8.5 to 9 months currently, it could easily go over 1 year or more in few months.

No good news anywhere for Seattle filers :(

Well, maybe it's because the average of 1,000 people per week have been moving to the Seattle area?  :clock:

Hello,

I know this is a different topic, but I would like to ask if somebody has received an email from VisaJourney yesterday saying that account has been locked due to many failed attempts to log in from an unknown device and different location. It happened to me last night and apparently, somebody was trying to get into my account from Michigan. I was suggested to change my password for security reasons. But I was wondering if there was a breach or if that was a phishing email.

Maybe a silly question here.. Does the processing times update of N-400 mean the approval of oath letter of the scheduling of the interview letter?
