Nope!  The Yakima field office processes N-400 applications much faster than the Seattle field office.  :whistle:  https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do 

 

The timeline at the Yakima office is about 6 months while it's 8.5 months at the Seattle office!  :dancing:

The timeline at the Yakima office is about 6 months while it's 8.5 months at the Seattle office!  :dancing:

Maybe fewer people apply for N-400 in the Yakima, WA area since it's a small city?  :reading:

What I meant was each field office has different work loads, so it all depends. I checked the Los Angeles filed office, now it is 9 months for Los Angeles filed office, but how do I know my application is handled by the Los Angeles filed office? I assume at some point it probably will end up being in that office. What is interesting is on June's thread, Cazzers just got his oath letter and he passed the 400 interview, but the officer could not officially tell him his 751 was approved, and yesterday he got the oath letter. So if we don't get the 751 approval, we might end up being in a situation like him where we do the 400 and they will just adjudicate 751 without officially letting us know. That is one of the officers i talked to kind of told me, he said they are now processing my 400, that is why 751 was delayed(Which is not so true, that is not why my 751 is delayed, it is delayed because CSC has bee delayed unprecedentedly). Of course, another officer told me I would hear from them sometimes this week, lol. (I doubt it) So we just have to see and wait, and for me, it has only been 45 days since i filed 400, but i will be reaching the 2 month mark and who knows if my 751 will be approved before that. God, it is a mess if you are not patient.

I assume NBC (National Benefits Center) accepts/checks your N-400 application, cashes your money, and issue you an NOA letter.  :whistle:

 

They probably transfer your N-400 application to your field office after issuing you a biometrics letter, I assume.  :reading:
