Technically I think you would be an August filer since you filed in August but you seem to be right on the line so really it is up to you which list you want to add yourself to and follow. There is another member in the same boat as you that filed here in the August forum. In the September forum, I think that you will be closer to people around the same step as you since most August filers have already finished fingerprinting. However, you will be the first person to go through the steps in September so you won't have anyone to follow. Everyone else will be following you. If you post in the August forum you may be a bit behind on the initial steps but you will be able to see timelines for everyone in front of you.

It definitely will if the local field office don't hire more interview officers. They interview both I-485 and N-400.

N-400 Timeline San Francisco field office (Marriage with an US citizen and 3 year of LPR):

Hi there! I had fingerprints today in Greer, SC. One hour and a half driving from home but it was worth. Appointment was at 10am and we were about six or seven persons, not a long wait. In my case, they took a picture, signature and just right hand fingerprints because the system identified me as soon as the officer sent the information. Left hand and thumbs were not necessary. Also, they gave me a study guide for the history and civics exam.

There was an Oath of Allegiance ceremony in the same location at 10am. I also know that ceremonies are more often lately because this year many long-term residents are filling for citizenship. A friend that has been living in the U.S. for about 30 years as a resident filled on March, passed her interview last Monday and will attend ceremony on Sep. 18th at Carl Sandburg Museum in Flat Rock, NC.

I'll keep you posted as soon as I get the next appointment.

That is actually for employment based green card applications and refugees who are seeking green cards. Trump White House said they would expand it incrementally to other types of green card applications in the long run..

03/15/2018 (day 214): Oath ceremony was competed and I am an US citizen!

It is frustrating, I don't expect to be approved any time soon as I have 751 and 400 going at the same time. Been waiting for 751 one year and 38 days. Just applied for 400 a month ago..:(
