Does anyone have a waiver I-212 Nov 7 2016??? My case was transferred to  Lee Summit MO January 30th 2017 and since then I'm not hearing back from USCIS , my case is on Hold for some reason. Several case inquiries (6 in total), calls, visits to field offices , emails , Ombudsman Request , tier 2 calls,  18 month already passed . I'm so desperate

I don't know. There's no more details in the letter they sent, other than below info. And since then we are still waiting for a response , good or bad , but we just want a response  :(

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On January 30, 2017, we transferred your Form I-212, Application for Permission to Reapply for Admission into the United States After Deportation or Removal, Receipt Number LIN1790121383, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by March 1, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Sorry to hear that.  I didn't know they transfer 1601s also.  It will be okay, maybe you can do in infor pass to speak to someone at the office of your location.

good luck.  Let stay positive, although it is easier said than done.

A brief summary of my process, hope it helps anyone who tries it or who have reached the 13.5months mark and up ....

***********************  Submission Date December 29, 2016 / Approval March 23, 2018  *****************************

I visited the field office once every 3months through infopass appointments and every month after my one year submission mark from December 2017 till it got approved in March 2018. I am not sure if i was lucky during my visits to the field office but each time i go the lady always tells me exactly where my case file was and also if it has been checked or moved since my last visit. Some times it stayed in same file batch for months and get checked each time she helps me send an email to Nebraska to inquire about my case. I also noticed that my file was checked each time i tried to expedite because each time i submitted an expedite request and go for an infopass visit she tells me my file was checked but put back in same batch. It also got checked each time my congressman reaches out to them but still goes back into the same old batch........

But in the last 3months (January-March 2018)  before it got approved it moved through 3 different departments, because she always told me it has left the department where it was and have gone to another. The 4th department was processing department (March 20, 2018) and it was approved (March 23, 2018) 3days after it arrived at the processing department.

I will suggest that those who have reached the 13.5 to 15months mark from their submission date to start doing infopass appointments monthly to know if the application is moving through departments like mine did, that way you know you are close to a response. If you submitted within January-March 2017 you should be trying this process to see if it works for you like it did for me and my spouse.

Good Luck All.......

Hi there. I'm waiting on a 601 waiver received April 2017. Any idea of what/when I should expect for a decision? Also, if my waiver is approved, what is the next step? Thanks!

Have you get any update on your i601 of April 2017 please kindly update us

I think I saw a response where February 2017 is approved.  I think March should be this month end, hopefully. I would think April should be round next month.  I am only hoping so June can come after in August:rolleyes: stressful.

I think once approved, USCIS contacts your embassy and they will contact you for the final process. DS 260 has to be one, physical and police record.  this is what I understood from the threads of responses from different folks.
