Hi Everyone, plz help us figure this out!  After her interview, My wife has received the form DS5535 via email to fill it out and email it back. The form was like an email with questions and space for answers. they also Attached the form but they mention it is only for my records, I could not open the form because Every single computer I go to it says file is not supported  or file might been damaged. Anyway I am going to send the email back with answers, but my question is how to sign this form at the end? because it has to be signed and dated. is putting her first name and last name means it is signed? thank you very much in advance and good luck to EVERYONE WHO IS WAITTING FOR THAT  DAY TO BE  IN ONE PLACE :)))))

Hmm... Probably the form needs to be completed and signed manually if it is not a "smart" fillable PDF form :) Thereafter, attach to the e-mail to send back to the embassy.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

She can maybe print it out, fill it out, sign it, scan it then email it to them? Add attachments too for extended answers if needed.

There might be a way to read that file. Try other PDF readers, not just Adobe's.

Otherwise, she can just email them and either ask them to resend the file or explain how to sign the form.

PS. Has your wife traveled outside Morocco before (asking because I'm trying to understand why they gave her that form)?

the form is for extra investigations for travel / work outside  Morocco

usually means to a country of question

maybe did not provide a criminal investigation report as needed from that country so they must do one

let's hope this goes good and the wait is not too long

i take it you the spouse are a man and moroccan

others assume the moroccan is a woman

try to download the form from USICS site instead of the email

there should be a cover sheet with bar code that will be needed to send in with the form

do all this and mail ASAP (as soon as possible ) to her in the US / do not mail directly to immigration yourself as she has the bar code sheet'

tell her to add case number and both names and DOB (date of birth) to upper right hand corner of all pages of documetns she sends in as things get lost on iimmigration

incha allah

allah yessir
