From the time NVC received my case from USCIS to the time I got my welcome email was 2 weeks. I was able to call and get my case/invoice # after 1 week, but once logged in I couldn't actually do anything. Once I received the welcome email that opened up the fees so I could pay. Then it took about a week for the payment to clear and change from In Process to Paid.

🤦🏽‍♀️All this waiting ugh & thank you

How long after the nvc received your approved petition did they assign a case number? 🤔

My case was approved on June 29, sent to nvc on 7/7, they received on 7/14 and gave me the case number the same day and sent me the welcome letter to my email on 7/17.

Don't pay again until you have confirmed that you need to.

I had something similar happen recently. Check on the "receipts" portion of ceac to see what status is reported there? Also, check with your bank to see if they are/have processed the payment. You can also just call nvc and ask.

in my case we actually received two invoices for the IV fee. I paid after receiving the first and then about 12-24 hr later got a second invoice (only one beneficiary in our case) and the fee status changed back from "in process" to "pay now". But when I went to the receipt page it still showed "in process" with the payment confirmation info. I also called to make sure that the second invoice wouldn't be a problem and the said that there is a glitch in the system and sometimes this happens. Once the payment clears it will be fine and the second invoice doesn't impact anything. About 1 day later the payment was processed and the ds-260 unlocked.

Thanks very much, very true the receipt shows in process

Some say two weeks.  I called them last week and they told me I have to give them 6 weeks but I'll call again on Friday to check in ^_^ I've read on here several times to keep trying if you can get your case number over the phone you can start to process sooner.  The info on the first message in this thread is very helpful.  I have my packets just about all in order.  It's so hard to be patient when you miss them sooo much!!

6 weeks, we got ours in 3 days ..after we called

Gosh, unfortunately for me, my case was approved on the 21st, day after yours but when USCIS updated their status, it said "case sent to state department on August 2nd" ...very frustrating, 11 day delay in sending the case over.

So sending the document now will be another week? I was reading somewhere that if you send it soon enough like 4 weeks after the scan date the date won't change? I'll wait to call Nvc. Thank you!

I'm not sure how long it will take...did you get your answer?

For those who submitted their DS-260, the vaccination question "Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?" I have received vaccinations and I have records but I don't know if these satisfy "US requirements" or if the documents are considered official for immigration purposes (usually my country just gives vacunation cards, nothing fancy). Should my answer be Yes, because I HAVE been vaccinated although I dont know if I have every shot they need, or should I say No, and that everything will be completed during the medical exam before the interview?

I looked up this question too. From past posts on VJ it seems we should put yes, because by the time the interview comes around, you will have all the necessary vaccinations at the medical check up.

Hey everyone.  Anyone from the end of June get approved yet?  How about the beginning of July?

I've heard of a couple closer to the end of June, nothing for July yet...I think they are working on mid to late June right now 🙂
