Yes, did that before I discovered

Mine is employment based so there's limit to how much  I can affect the process. Even when I discovered, it took about a week before my application went into review but the agent was not willing to send in the missing documents so I had to play along.

That might be a good idea to send it to NVC since it wouldn't change your scan date much and you caught it early, which will save you so much time. I assume NVC will ask for it since they collect all the paperwork for the embassy, but u can always call NVC to confirm and/or check the website to see exactly what format of the  documents your country requires

Never can be too careful 🙂

So sending the document now will be another week? I was reading somewhere that if you send it soon enough like 4 weeks after the scan date the date won't change? I'll wait to call Nvc. Thank you!

HI.Did you send original pictures or was this done in microsoft word with information of who were in the picture. I'm getting my things ready as i'm almost at that stage

I printed out these pictures in a photo printing store and had them all sent with the information written next to the pictures! I'm not sure if that's necessary to do but it looked more professional and official than a word document in my opinion :)

I did use a word documents for 3 months of our texts though.

I thought NVC only needed financial and civil documents? Do we have to prove the bonafides of our marriage again? I didn't even send pictures with my I130.

There is an option on the barcoded NVC checklist to send additional documentation which is known as "front loading" - basically making sure you have as much evidence and document support in your NVC package as possible to avoid any chance of check list / missing documents / not enough evidence.

I too didn't submit anything like that in my i130 but I don't wanna take any risks having my NVC check delayed or them asking for more evidence since it seems to take an additional 2 months or something crazy.

We sent photos and conversations to NVC as well for this very reason. I'd rather have too much than not enough and receive a checklist.
