 It say on website medical reasons, life or death reasons. But I read in one tread that a guy was approved because he had already planned the wedding and family had already booked flights and it was stressing the wife.  Another got approved because the time at the USCIS was too long.

Just got off the phone with NVC. Scan date 8-29

The operator said they are currently working on reducing the backlog but it can still take up to 11 weeks

Definitely no checklist . Already had that lol. Our country seems to be taking 9 1/2 weeks so hopefully beginning of next week I'm sure yours is not much longer!
