You're so right about that lol. It also feels so good because of how much time we had to spend during the USCIS phase with ZERO communication or information regarding the case. Now it feels like it's actually moving along and we're more involved!

That's correct, you can enter with that info but you can't actually do anything until you receive the welcome email. Just a little longer!

How long did you wait for your NVC welcome letter?

I called the NVC and they told me my case went to review on August 7th. Does that mean that I am going to get a chekc list?

Also, don't forget to update the spreadsheet that your case is in review!!  You'll have to go into your email and find the link to when you originally filled it out so you can update it. It should say "Google Forms" in your email.

Why wonder when you can do a search on the forum. I'll remind you again to please search before posting your questions. I've posted several times my timeline which answers this question.

So why should others look for answers for you then?  I have spent numerous amounts of hours / months creating tools and compiling information so that questions like these would not have to be posted. Please research (using the search function) before posting. You'll find the answers on here. I promise. You can also read all the pages of posts to learn everything about the process becoming a valuable contributor here. Yes the process is overwhelming at first. But I promise with a little patience and curiosity, you'll be able to navigate the forum without any problems. Wish you luck.

@JBMG don't take this the wrong way but I find this comment very rude.  For someone who has been on the forum for months it may be easy to know where to find the information because YES it is available and YES there is a lot of information but it's also overwhelming. Sometimes we just want to talk to real people in real time and if I know the answer to something I don't mind sharing instead of having the person go through hundreds of posts. Just my opinion. If we can't ask questions because everything has been posted then nobody would have anything to say.

No worries, I def came across as rude. My apologies. It's an amazing community. I didn't want to upset you or anyone. That was not my intention. Sorry and thank you for calling me out on it.

Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC

Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third. :bonk:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before posting questions, please read the wiki Saylin wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;)Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!
If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view Saylin's flowchart here.
Yes this thread was created by our great Queen Saylin and the knowledge is still going forward. This thread I pray stays alive and well as many who have gone through the process or still going can chime in and help and assist.
If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process smile.png That means if you are on this thread WE expect you to have an up to date timeline.
And once you've got a case complete, please join the case complete/interview thread started by me, Dwheels76 on (currently September 2017 thread),
