True.  AUH immigration is very quick.  I traveled with Etihad via AUH in January to visit my wife.  I also wanted to book my wife on that flight, but no seats are available.  

My vacation starts on the day she will arrive here and therefore my options were very limited.  Cannot postpone my time off work.

Finally! I can join this thread. After a long NVC journey Im now awaiting a interview date. Would be great if we made it in time for a October interview! 

I filled out the spreadsheet but I guess I have to be added.

Yay! Welcome to the club! :) I got my CC 8/25 and got my interview date today when I called! Yours should be coming right up!

I was wondering if maybe we got our cc too late in the month to be in time for a October date but I guess time will tell.

You never know! Don't lose hope just yet :) They've been giving out interview dates this entire week from what I've seen! It's still possible!
