Wow Mumbai is super fast at scheduling.  Case close 28 august..date given 29 August.  I only called thinking they will never have a date.  But they did! 18 October.   1 day before diwali.. I hope this doesn't cause too much problem.  Oh well.. just happy it's over

Hi guys,

I don't know if someone already answered to that but I have a little problem and I was wondering if it already happened to someone else.

I had my interview on August 2nd in Paris (almost a month ago). When I left the Embassy, my status changed to "Administrative process" but a week ago it went back to "Ready"... I sent many emails so they ended up replying by saying there is "a little something" slowing things down and I had to wait few more days. This was a week ago... I can't get anyone on the phone that is helpful or has any pieces of information.

Also, I over stayed in the US long ago and my bar is over now. When I went to the Embassy they told me they would remove it and it should take around 10 days but this wasn't a problem.

Soooo... Did anyone go through this ####### too? Thanks to all of you.

I think we're going through the same thing...

Damn... When and where did you have your interview?

The Embassy just called me and told me there is a problem in the system... They decided to give me my visa on the 23rd but since then the system doesn't want to print it and they don't know why. Visibly the consul called Washington to know why but they still don't know... She told me it can be printed in the coming hours or in days and to contact them again next week if I still have nothing...

Hi all had my interview yesterday but unfortunately visa was not issued because they reached a cut off date with the type of visa am filing for. Was approved verbally given back my passport and told to come back to embassy the 1st week in October so that it could be issued. Don't know if anyone else experienced this.
