Hello All!  

 

Received notification passport is ready for pick up!  Will pick up 8/30/2017 AEG Islamabad.  Ticket also booked for next week!  No worries, I won't have to pay for changes or refund should something go wrong.    

 

8/24/2017 - Visa Approved.  CEAC status:  ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

8/25/2017 - CEAC STATUS:  ISSUED.

8/26, 8/27, 8/28 - CEAC STATUS:  ISSUED with Last Update as of 8/25/2017

8/29 - CEAC STATUS:   ISSUED with Last Update as of 8/29/2017.  E-mail received for passport.  Called to confirm.   

 

Next Week POE - JFK.  One way ticket.  Very expensive though.

She simply said I do not have an interview scheduled yet as I just got a CC. Will try again by weekend and if no luck, will wait till middle of September. I haven't lost hope though.

This seems to depend on the location (country and city).

 

I searched VJ (yay for the search feature 😍) and read that it can take up to 2 weeks to get the results back in New Delhi, so I urged my hubby to go asap and get it done. 

 

He went in almost 3-4 weeks prior to our interview and the medical was easy and didn't take him too long. He was told the documents would be ready to be picked up in 3-4 days. 

 

They notified him and he went to get them. All in all it took 1 day for the medical and 4 days in between, so 5 days for him.

 

I'm so glad that we got it done as early as possible, it really alleviated some of the stress! 😅

POE will be tomorrow! After receiving just 8 days between issued and expiration date. We decided to just go ahead and book my wife's flight for tomorrow 8/30. Her visa expires on that same date so I made sure I called the visa service desk and they told me she would have to come to the U.S on or before the 30th. God willing everything will be fine and this journey will be over soon.

I am dying here, my cc was 3 months ago, and no interview so far. She is from the same embassy as me. and her cc was way after mine. So, if it really has a interview queue, my interview must have been scheduled by now. I am calling to the nvc now, hoping for the best.

I wonder if anyone else has mentioned this happening on the forum. My husbands interview is tomorrow, so he'd have to quickly wrap up work and other things. x.x

Can't find the August thread, but received case complete August 14th, and today our interview date was scheduled for October 4th.

Medical, biometrics, prepping the needed documents etc. (as needed).

Honestly, this is the first time I ran into this. If there are more cases like this one, I'd say they must be anomalies 😰😣
