Hi there. Having the same issues. Filed on 11th April and have raised a service request for my EAD where the answer was my case is under review. I also have a job offer pending and have had to delay my start date 3 times now.

I was finally put through to the tier 2 customer service (to speak to an immigration officer). They informed me that my EAD was approved last Friday and that I should receive my card this week. However, instead I received a NOA stating that whilst my EAD has been approved, so has my green card and that I now need to wait for that. Not sure what to expect now or when but I have another service request raised that has been expedited and I should have an answer on Monday.

But yeah, looks like they are facing a big backlog.

wow! they didn't update the website to notify you it got approved? they are definitely not helping and I don't really have a case to expedite or raise a service request..I tried but it's mostly me just being impatient at this point! when my sister did hers, she got her AP in less than 3 months!

No the website actually says that my EAD was received (so no update since April) and the I-485 is ready for interview. Nothing seems in sync at the moment.

I was able to expedite based on financial loss but that was for the EAD - we weren't expecting the green card to be approved (or apparently approved) so quickly.

I filed on the 13th of March 2017 and received my AP/EAD card on the 26th June 2017, which means it took 106 days. (I know a little earlier than this thread but maybe it's still helpful?)

What's annoying me so much though is that they still didn't update my USCIS status on their website: it still states "My case was received" and for my Green Card: "Fingerprints Fee has been received", even though I already had my biometrics appointment.

Hope you're receiving yours soon!

hi, our case was received on April 4, 2017 we just got my EAD/AP combo card last week... it's like 118 days mark. so most probably yours will be soon.

How long did it take for your combo card to come when you got the notice of approval?  We got our email/website update this week and are waiting very anxiously for the card to arrive!  Were your notifications also different?  My AP one says "approved," and my EAD one says "card is in production."

Thank you!

Hi, on July 19, our EAD reflected as "card is being produced"... July 24 "card is mailed". Our AP remains "case received" but when we finally got the card on the 27th, it's an EAD/AP combo card.

  • 2 weeks later...

update: still no update on my AP or EAD. my VJ timeline was estimating it to be done by Aug 9 but it seems like that's not the case. the USCIS website has updated as of Aug 10 and they are working on April 1 applications.

The patience game is wearing off for me..at this point I am going to stop checking!
