go to the police station that connects your area and ask them for PCC

they will ask you for id card, photocopy of passport and passport size pictures. There is a fee as well. I got mine in 1 week.

Thank you for this quick response. nvc asked IRS tax returns. my question is that my husband filed his tax 2016 as a single but we were married at that time so now it will affect?

it shouldn't affect as in my case we did the same. Your tax returns should be filed and you have to show only the most recent year. We sent our 3 year record though. Hope that helps.

May I ask how many weeks NVC took?

They took almost 3 week to reply us welcome letter. are you from pakistan? 

Did you get police certificate in english or you translated it after got it from police station.

oh i thought your interview is scheduled 

PCC was made in English already. We didn't need to translate it. You need to translate your nikkahnama (the nadra one) though

I got my manual Nikahnama translated and attested. The one from Nadra (computerized) is in both English and Urdu. One column has English and the other column has Urdu. My Police report was already in English as well.

i got a checklist and resubmitted the required documents in the week of JULY 10th 2017. Got my email this week saying that i'm awaiting my interview. So it took about 52 days for me.
