Hello Everyone, I moved to US in 2015 and had 10Years green card, I lost my green and applied online I90, how long it will take to get new card?

If I get getI155 stamp from local USCIS office I think I shouldn't have problem with my job and travelling outside US?

how I will be treated during the period I don't have green card with please I am worried about having any problem for not having a actual card with me.

Any experience please share thank you in advance.

It takes around 5 months to replace, well it did last year. You can get a I551 stamp if you show the receipt of your i90, make an info pass appointment with your local office online, try after midnight for a slot.  I used my I55i stamp at Dublin International airport in April and had no problems. Only problem I had in was at check in but the attendant was new and didn't know what an I55i stamp was, it was soon sorted out for me though.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Do you have photocopies of the card or any correspondence that has your "alien number"? You'd need the alien number if there are any changes in employment while you're waiting for the replacement. You don't need the actual green card to start a new job. You can use your driver's license and your social security card (unrestricted), but you'd need your alien number in any case.

Your current employer shouldn't be bothering you about verifying your work authorization if they already did that when you started. A lost card doesn't change your actual status. Might try getting the stamp at an infopass with the I-90 receipt if any travel plans are coming up.

Diago thank you so much yes I do have copies of each side, I am not worried about current job but I am worried about any future change and living in US how that can affect me around? in terms of my legal status and I heard that you will not get replacement before one year.

Your legal status doesn't change because you misplaced the card; the card is just physical proof of your status. The I-90 is there for people who lose their cards, which happens all the time, and you've already filed to replace it and replace it is what they'll do... eventually. It's a waiting game and not something to worry about unless you have some travel plans around the corner. And if you need to change jobs, you can use your state ID / driver's license and your social security card.

Again thank you Diago, I really do not have any immediate travel plan again thank you, just worried about in case of change in job or any other need occur because 10 Year card every one understand but 1 year i550 temporary stamp rose concerns for the people my thoughts may be I am overthinking and worried
