Date of I-751 = The Date you sent your application.

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on youroriginal NOA letter.

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment.

Approved = The Date your case was approved.

You are overthinking. The 18 month extension letter is New and began this year due to the increase in processing time. The extension letter is the exact thing as the stamp -just need the expired gc with it.

Hi Everyone! I also filed August 17, 2017. Still no update or extension letter. The last update was February 28, my case was transferred to my local office. Keep good hope everyone. It's very frustrating.

I hear ya. For the last month, my daily routine has been set to:

1. Checking my case status and nearby cases about 5 times a day
2. Browsing this forum first thing in the morning, all of my lunch time, and after work
3. Checking for any news about immigration or USCIS or any new related podcast episodes
4. Searching for worst case scenarios online and psyching myself with the I-751 case horror stories and court denials I read

This experience has taught me how to both be zen-mode patient applicant and an anxiety-driven crazy person. Thank you USCIS, I'm now both!

Yes, VJ2 became my new Facebook go to site.  Our NOA1 was in April 2017 with VSC.  I had hoped to see our approval back in March of this year, based on other approvals I saw here at the 11 month wait point for VSC.  Called a Tier 2 Officer this week, and we received our approval text message this morning.  We waited 491 days since NOA1 for approval.  (Nothing out of the ordinary, i.e.., no RFE.  But, of the three family applicants, one did have to redo the biometrics appointment this past May.). Good luck to you!  Now onto the N400.

the moving to local office is a glitch?? I have the same issue. it says April 9 to my local office.  I haven't heard anything yet. I can not even send a e-request. I called and the automated system says i must wait until 180 days after the 9 to inquire! hello my husband's expire in oct. his first NOA received in 8/17/2017 with an extension of a year from his expiry date in October. Next month is october. what are they waiting for!!
