I think thats good. I believe they are working on the case then. Hopefully yours will be approved soon 😊

Agreed - We got this too just before approved. I thought at the time it had to do with us calling to ask a question. Looks like a pattern may be developing.

Actually https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ is pretty accurate,i have been watching it daily and it moves slowly.

I didnt get any notice except "there are no updates" email.

Sounds like a good sign, things are moving for you. 🤞

You mean August 16th? That was fast!

For me, It will be one week this Friday since i got that email. My status is still the same — New card is being produced. Should I call uscis and see if it has shipped?

Also my application on dhs.gov site shows that last update was on feb 26 but on egov.uscis.gov it shows that on aug 24 new card is being produced. Is that normal?

I've heard that the DHS website doesn't always update like the USCIS website does. Congrats btw :)

August 25th 2018 I received a second document extending my green card for 6 more months (18months total of extension). Nothing else so far. I was close to make an appointment to inquire about my situation.  I was getting scared.

So I got the extension letter I mentioned above for my son, and just noticed they gave him a new receipt number which is  not the same as mine at all and the service center is YSC( Potomac center) in Maryland. He is a dependent in my case, why is his service center different than mine now, so confusing. We are going to get him stamp Sep. 10th, just wanted to ask if somebody hear abt such a thing before?! When I check this new receipt number it says case was transferred to our local office in March 5th, just like my case. Just don't understand the reason of changing cervice center for him? We never got any official transfer notices...

I travelled to mexico often with my expired green card and the extension letter. No issues at all except for being from Yemen lol. Now I am not sure with the travel ban if I can actually travel outside the U.S or not.

Should I be getting worried? Filed ROC on August 1st 2017, Biometrics done right away and case was last updated on April 9th 2018( moved to local office) but have yet to receive an extension. Does not having the extension effect my right to work? Any help would be appreciated.
