Actually Hartford isn’t accepting infopass appointments at the time being. It’s not that there aren’t any available...they aren’t taking appointments for some reason. 😞

San Francisco isn't either, but my wife was at least able to request an appointment online. They called her the next day and said nope, not until there's a month left on your green card. Are you not even able to make the request online?

Yes.

Actually just noticed mine says NBC and yours says Vermont Service Center, so I think mine is definitely related to my N-400.

As I suspected, the letter in my mailbox was just the N-400 receipt notice. Boring!

We can not make one online for some reason they aren’t accepting appointments. Gc expires this month.

We received extension letter in the mail today- relieved to have it and not worry about a stamp. It’s 6 months added to the original 12 month extension letter. This makes us covered until March 2019.

Yes my husband got his 18 month extension letter from VSC in the mail today, but it doesn't show up when we log in to check for updates.

well thats cool. at least you got something :) . just out of my curiosity, I have 2 questions if anyone have the answer.

  1. is the infopass necessary to get? I mean if I dont plan to go outside the US, do I still make one? my letter will expire in a week
  2. let's say I have the stamp. Does anyone have experience in renewing your driver license with the infopass stamp on your passport? is it possible to renew it with the stamp?  DMV in NJ only gave me DL with the same date as my letter's expiration date.

My concern was, when his extension expired, it could be possible to lose his job, not to mention everything else since he would be out of status. That was the only reason I scrambled to get an info pass appointment.  I'm not sure all that would happen, but it worried me. The DMV refuses to give you a new license or ID with less than 2 months on current status

Hi I am an EAC17335***** filer. (Receipt Date 8/31/2017)

Just received my I-797C Notice of Action in mail about 18 month extension, but it's not the original I-797, but a copy on a white paper. I am not using an attorney and wondering if anybody has received the copy but not the original one. Thanks!
