May I ask if you are with VSC?

Yes,  Vermont Service Center. I just checked on the USCIS site to see if it shows an update and it does not show any touch at all since April when we updated our address.

does anyone from VSC get any progress yet?

Yes my husband got his 18 month extension letter from VSC in the mail today, but it doesn't show up when we log in to check for updates.

That's interesting. If VSC takes 13 months to make a decision why would they issue 18 months extension at the expiration of the original 12 months extension? Out of curiosity, may I ask if you filed in August 2018 or August 2017?

Keep checking for appointments,  I tried for a week, night and day and just happened to log on at 2 am and there were 4 morning appointments open.

It's an additional 6 month extension but the new letter takes the place of the original 12 month letter (so instead of stating in the new letter that it extends the original 12 months to 18 months, it states 18 months from gc expiration) we filed August 2017

Actually Hartford isn’t accepting infopass appointments at the time being. It’s not that there aren’t any available...they aren’t taking appointments for some reason. 😞

The 13 months is always an estimate and will fluctuate based on their workload/how many applications to process, sending of RFEs etc

So there should be a neighboring office to use in dire circumstances,  right? Like mine is Montgomery with Atlanta as a standby

I could go out of state but I don’t want to risk not being in jurisdiction and taking off work/Drive etc 🙁

I saw some people filed at June and July 2017 and they also received the extension letter. I think they might want to send it to some people to reduce the load on the info pass thing. Because there are big loads due to so many delays in cases.

It's possible, I emailed an agent (with no reply of course) and scored a rare available info pass appointment and 2 days later we get this extension. Coincidence? Maybe...
