Hey everyone,

Been a while since I posted here. I have a question, I was hoping to apply for naturalization as my eligible date was July 31 based on my GC. I recently moved from NY to NJ and am worried if that would be an issue. I see USCIS has the following requirement

"Have lived within the state, or USCIS district with jurisdiction over the applicant’s place of residence, for at least 3 months prior to the date of  filing the application"

We moved in on June 29 and based on the above requirement I won't be able to apply till September 30th. Am I right in assuming this? I also changed my address on the USCIS website and got confirmation on my case status.. Any information would help.. :)

Yes, it looks like you have to wait https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartD-Chapter6.html

Mine is the same thing, since March 5. But I don't have all those update you have at the bottom left. It used to be there but it has since been removed. I am going to file N400 later this month.

This is so frustrating. Post office has delivered second floor's mails to my mail box (3rd floor) for two days in a row. I marked my mail box with several "#3" and still receive #2 mails. As if USCIS is not enough, USPS wants to make my life miserable. The mail man is criminally negligent!

Congrats! Awesome. Calling USCIS today because we have several "Received Your Case" notices but not one for local office. Thinking we may have been transferred to CSC but we did not receive a notice to that effect.
