Is it easy to get an Infopass appointment dates or only available at specific hours.

I just went this past Friday. It was very easy and the gentleman who helped me was very nice. Bring your passport, expired green card and the NOA letter. I was in and out in less than 30 mins.

I wish I knew. The officer was extremely cryptic-he refused to confirm anything. However, the other officer near him said he recently saw the FIRST copy of the 18 month extension letter, implying that they are still really rare.

Our field office in our state is not accepting appointments period. Anyone else in Connecticut or have their state not accepting appts? We expire next month..

Did you try going to the website at the night?

It says it accepts only 14 days in advance as far as Chicago,during the day always shows no appts available.

It’s not that there are no appointment times to chose from- Hartford CT is literally not accepting any infopass appointments-

Is it documented from USCIS that you can only get a I-551 stamp within 30 days of your GC expiration date?

The key word from that statement is eligible... we can assume anyone who currently has a pending I-751 case will get the 18 month extension letter. The $64,000 question is when?

Not that I’m aware off... by looking at the different message boards it’s appearig it’s at the officers discretion... I’ve seen people get different answers from different officers. For example you were told 2 eeeks before- others told 1 month before and I also saw someone who got a stamp with more than a month until expiration .

So I wasn’t too concerned until I realised I go on holiday soon, I’ll be within the year extension but only by 2 weeks. Is it best to try and set up an infopass appointment before or should I be okay?
