I am eligible in a month to apply for N-400.

Can I start my application now and fill all the details and then submit it on the day when I am eligible?

Also, what documents are needed to be uploaded online?

thanks!

Hi guys,

I am freaking out because I lost my extension letter :(

I have pictures and some color copies but I am not sure if while trying to come back to the US, immigration might say "sorry pal.. This looks fake" or deny my entry.

Has anyone maybe used a copy just fine? Thanks!

I did an infopass for July the 12th.. The earliest appointment available and I showed up today.. Saying that I needed it to get it done before my travel out of the US this 4th of July, they took care of me but advised not to show up before the actual reserved date

My passport got its stamp and is valid for one year :)

Hey all, it's been a while! Case is still pending of course...

Did you guys know of this website? https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

I found it in the June 2017 filers thread, you can track your case on that website as well but you'll have to create a login just for this using an email. It seems that most of the time you'll see an approval on your case from the DHS website before you'll see it on the usual USCIS website. The annoying this is the double factor authentication but it gives me something else to look at...

If this is old news just ignore me

Great congrats! Did you apply to the California Center?

also ..how is the status online? did it maybe change from "Local office has your case" to something else?

Thank you!

yes csc and no changes still cases transfered to local office

Oh well! What can we do right?

I haven't received mine; then I lost my original extension letter (which had like 2 good months left) and I use to travel all the time

I then went to my info pass appointment and got my passport stamped ..that gave me another year as a perm resident.... Just curious since you got the letter for another 18 months

Are those 18 months starting from 2 weeks ago? or 18 months since your last letter expired?

Thanks!
