So, we have created the profile via new portal. And the info is not the same?

We now have two receipts, the one from August and another from Saturday.

August receipt - both show the same date but the text is not the same. Under the new portal, the receipt shows that the 'filling fee was viewed' which was not?

March receipt - received in May - actually shows the Feb date under the new portal

I know that weed is now legal in CA for the recreational use? Could that be the case?

We received one of those letters with wrong zip code and distant ASC location. Called USCIS number listed on the letter and were informed that they were aware of the issue and they will send out new appointment letters. We were told to disregard the letter in hand and not show up at the ACS - local office or the incorrectly  scheduled location.

Hi. Did you check your case status since monday? It should be either case approved or card being ordered by now. Any updates at all?. Good luck. I know you don't like to post much but please reply as it does help the rest of the people here. As to your question normally that message will be followed by approval soon after, next day or within few days

Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction.

You answer a question with a question?. You post to ask for help. Few people including myself with previous post reply and answer your questions, then we ask you to clarify a couple of points, you quote the question and ask the same question again. So strange. This is a 2way street, everybody try to ask for help with things they don't understand and return the favor. Anyway good luck

But i guess the person who sniffed some fishy smells could be right

It's obvious it's a troll, they have no history of posting good comments in the forums, they're just copy-pasting some random text.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but very unlikely CSC will approve an August 2017 filer at this point, that's all.

We made an inquiry regarding the "case was received by a local office" thing. What they basically said was that the case was within the normal processing time (I don't really see how waiting 17-19 months is considered normal), the case was still in their California office, and that they are sorry for any conflicting information that has been displayed over the case status tool. Wondering why they have one if it's not working properly. And another thing that really annoys me is their new page that shows processing times. It's so weird and confusing. I really don't know when is this going to be over.
