So are you guys gonna call USCIS to make sure your zip codes are correct in your files? Idk what to do, since lots of us got those messed up zip codes on the notice...

No. Since it seems to have happened to so many of us, I assume it is a USCIS system error that they're probably already aware of. Yes, I realize it is probably foolish to have any bit of confidence in USCIS, but life's too short to deal with USCIS over every error they make. Gotta pick and choose to keep one's sanity!

After doing some research, it appears that I-751s are usually only transferred to a local office when they are going to schedule an interview.

we updated your name for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. Does anyone understand this??

Just got back from our info pass appointment that was scheduled before this fiasco. My husband did not have his biometric appointment yet, and received the letter on Saturday with a wrong zip code and schedule to appear for biometric appointment in Norrige, IL and we are in LA, CA

The officer was not aware of the mistake as of yet. He was puzzled too.

He was able to correct zip code and schedule a biometric appointment for today.

So at least we got something done.

He did mentioned that the current wait time for lifting conditions is 19 months

He advised us to apply for citizenship as soon the window opens.

Since we are planning on traveling to EU on fall, he said to come back 15-30 days before the expiration of the extension letter so that they can place and extension stamp is my husbands passport.

From what I've read here before, usually people get name update before approval. Wait for a few more days to see if it changes for approve. Good luck. It's normal.

Are you VSC or CSC?

That's great. Hope you get approved very soon. They do these kind of updates of name and date of birth change notifications on the site, but that doesn't mean they literary change your info, just an update.

So it looks like they are working on (and possibly approving) an I-751 application that was filed at CSC in August 2017???

This is great news!

I smell BS on that user saying their CSC case from August 2017 was already approved. Their receipt number is WAC17188666777, this number doesn't return anything when checking the status and it's funny that ends on 666 777.

They probably just added random numbers in there to cover up their original receipt number? Smells pretty fresh in here right now i dont think ill call BS.
