You guys are august 2017 and still no biometric appointment??? #######!!

Yes!

I was able to schedule an Infopass appointment for 5/14

This feels like CR1 procesa all over again when our case was in the dark hole for 3 months due to the outage. :/

I'm also an august filer with no biometrics despite calling and going to infopass appointment. The infopass officer told me that "of course they haven't sent me a biometrics appointment,  because the process is taking so long and they don't want the biometrics to expire before they have a chance to get to my case."

That’s the part that I am unsure of!? Can we do that? Don’t we have to wait for the condition to be removed first?

And I wouldnt waste anytime doing so either. Should definitely apply for N-400 the second you become eligible. Gives them a good insentive to get their hands dirty and wipe the cobwebs off your case and get to work.

I am a dependent on ROC application and we filed in August. They sent a letter back in September 2017 that they didn't need my biometrics and will use previous ones. The previous ones are from 2015. So maybe they will be able to reuse the previous ones.

Hi,

I am in the same situation, Last time I called USCIS they put me to talk to a consul and she told me that if we don't get our biometric letter within 3 months it means that the system is updated and we are good. Now my case is pending and she told me that I have to wait for the decision not much we can do. I was under the impression that this process was gonna be faster.
