I just checked the website www.uscis.gov and it says there they responded to my inquiry. I checked all my emails there's nothing from them. Should I wait for the response via mail?

Yep, because it says they sent you a response on the 12th and you have not received anything yet. Maybe calling Customer Service might help?

Yeah I’m wondering if it’s by regular mail...?

I submitted an inquiry on mine a couple of days ago, so it’ll be interesting to see if you receive anything

I'll wait for it in the mail 'til next week. Did you get a response via email?

Nothing yet, the status on my case history is still just that I submitted an inquiry...judging by the timeline on yours, they should ‘respond’ to mine in about a week

I just called USCIS and I was told to call again if I didn't receive anything within 30days of the inquiry.

My husband is August filet as well. No biometric appt, no movement whatsoever. We inquired on 3/26, it’s does show that they sent us the response that we did not receive.  I can’t get them to send me another one until next week.

No infopass appointments have been available in the past month.

UPDATE: Just got a mail yesterday re: cqse inquiry. It says there my is within current processing 5ime.

I just received a similar response, but via email:

On 04/09/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-751 Form to inquire about your case status. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry. On 03/30/2018, your biometrics attached to your application. Currently, your file is in our pre-adjudicative unit. We are adjudicating I-751 Petitions that were filed 17.5 to 19 months from the date of filing. USCIS electronic records indicate that you filed your petition on 08/07/2017. Please visit our website at www.uscis.gov and click on CHECK PROCESSING TIMES for up-to-date processing time information at the California Service Center.

Your I-751 Receipt Notice extends the validity of your conditional green card for an extra year, through 11/01/2018, allowing you to work and travel abroad, while we process your I-751. Should you require evidence of your conditional status beyond that date so that you may continue to work and/or travel abroad, then you may attend an appointment at your local USCIS Field Office. At that appointment, a USCIS Officer may stamp your unexpired foreign passport with an I-551 stamp with a 12-month expiration date. To create an appointment with your local field office, please refer to our website: https://my.uscis.gov/appointment.”

This wording would indicate that going to get the I-551 extension stamp is not actually mandatory. Only needed if someone requires evidence for work and/or travel abroad.  Does someone know if this definitely is the case? Our baby is due in October, due date just couple of weeks before the expiration date in the beginning of November.  It seems just too difficult or even dangerous to make the 6 hour round trip to our closest USCIS office around that time, if they even have any open appointments when we need it anyway.  Is it actually perfectly fine if we go get the stamp 1-2 months after the expiration?  My wife will not be working or traveling abroad around that time for sure.

Anyone had to change their address whilst waiting/in the middle of this? Hopefully moving next month or so but wondered if it’s going to be easy to update everything.

Haven’t done it, but it seems pretty straightforward since you can just do it online... I will be moving in a couple of months so had already looked it up haha

Yeah it seems straight forward, hoping I get my card before then but I know that’s a lot to ask!
