Hi people! Mine yesterday was transfer to my local office too. I have been reading and some people get approved after one or two days!!

Let's see how our cases go!! Good luck everyone!!

Yeah same here. But the weird thing is that the transfer message only came up when I used my NOA1#. Nothing has changed when I put in my NOA2# (number on the biometrics letter). I remember I could not use NOA#1 to track before. Urgggg so confusing!!

Yes, my NOA#1 still the same. The NOA#2 change....Maybe that's the principal NOA now?

You can schedule an infopass appointment and get an I-551 stamp on your passport or you can show your Social Security card with a valid ID and that's should take care of it.

You do not even need the stamp.

Just your drivers license and your unrestricted social security card. That is the law. Read the federal for i9. The employer cannot request other id. They will run e verify with your a number that you need to inclide but no need to show documents.

Hi Everyone,

I just checked my application and it has been transferred as well to the local office. I have a couple of questions:

Does anyone know, how long it takes for the decision to be made once the case has been transferred to the local office?

Is the local office where we go for biometrics?

Thanks! so excited and wish everyone get their GC's soon. :)

Hello Everyone I’m August 17 filer and still have not received my biometric appointment. However I checked my receipt number and it also shows it has been received at my local office Feb 26th.

I spoke to tier 2 and he just confirmed that. I was at local office [Phoenix] on Feb 27th but they didn’t mention anything about that. I believe they just submitted my case to the local office so they will receive it by next week hopefully.

I don’t think this is in regard to Interview. However the tier 2 representative said its for interview and its normal procedure. Tier 1 or even 2 most of the time don’t have accurate information.

Hopefully i I get my biometric scheduled and approval ASAP.
