We're early August filers. We thought we'd be able to file in July, but we didn't have the time. Our NOA date is August 9, 2017 and biometrics were done on September 7, 2017.

Biometrics done. In and out in about an hour. They wanted to see my marriage certificate but as it wasn't listed as a document I had to take with me I was able to get around it. Now for the wait...good luck everyone still waiting on bio appointments 

K1 Journey
20th May 2013: I-129F sent to Dallas (US time)
23rd May 2013: Paperwork tracked and delivered to Dallas (US time)
28th May 2013: NOA1 case sent to Vermont Service Centre (US time)
4th Sept 2013: Update from USCIS-Case has been transferred to a local USCIS office...not sure which one yet
9th Sept 2013: Update from USCIS- file has been transferred and is now being processed at Texas USCIS office
23rd Sept 2013: NOA2- approved!
25th Sept 2013: Case shipped to DOS
9th Oct 2013: Packet 3 arrived via email
9th Oct 2013: Fingerprints done and Police check submitted to AFP (received in mail 30/10/13)
1st Nov 2013: Medical Appointment, (Melb) (results received in mail 15/11/13)

6th Nov 2014: Biometrics appointment scheduled and completed

16th Jan 2015: Letter received stating possible Interview Waiver. Informed there's a 6mth delay on processing

7th Aug 2015: Notice of Intent to deny received. Reasons given- expired Medical and new G-325A needed

11th Aug 2015: New medical completed

14th Aug 2015: Response to RFE sent back to USCIS

23rd Aug 2015: Application to Adjust status approved, Green card has been ordered

3rd Sept 2015: Greencard RECEIVED (yes it is Green!) :no:

So, we went for infopass appt with my son today to get him a stamp in order to extend his GC, it was fast and easy, I had his two passport style pictures cuz I wanted them to create a separate form I-94 to stamp it, since he is in my passport, the officer who served us was nice and kind, and did it for us without any problems, she had to take his GC in exchange for this form. So relieved now:)

 I asked her to check out if nothing been scheduled for bio yet, and she said that nothing yet and our case is still pending, but also there is a chance to get bio waived. Also regarding our petition, she suggested to be very patient cuz it seems like it will take 15 or more months to get an approval.

I have a question, If I want to travel overseas is my extension letter enough or I need to go for stamp on my passport before hand?

Your extension letter, current GC and passport is enough. You don't need a stamp since you have an extension letter.

usps lost my biometric appt letter,informed delivery was saying it supposed to be delivered sep 11th(sent sep07 from corbin ky zip code).

NOA date on the receipt was aug 17th 2017

Spent half an hour spelling my info to that robot from uscis.

Should i try going to application center without notice?

Will they take me?

You can definitely  try to go there and explain everything, maybe they will be able to track your A number and accept you... Did you try to go to your local usps office too?

I would go there as soon as possible, to not miss your actual appt date, or even if you missed it, it's not you fault, they should be able to get your bio done.  At least it's good you called them, so they have it in record.

I dont know when is my apt,didnt get any emails but didnt submit g1145 or something like that although 751 form asks for your email.

Local post office cant do anything but i sumbited search request and hopefully something will happen.

 

I asked in my local uscis if they can go by the a number and guard said noooo we cant do it.

Maybe i should insist and ask for supervisor,it is not possible that they cant access info,they cant be that much of bureaucratic monsters.I read online it was done before.

When you called USCIS did you speak with tier2 officer? They have an access to check it out for you, and they can tell your scheduled day for sure. If you spoke with a regular representative they are useless, try to call again and insist to talk to level 2, also ask for your tracking number, maybe they will need it for bio. If you find  your actual date you can go there without letter and I think it will be no problem.
