So I'm going to call USCIS today regarding bio appt. Hopefully they will tell me smth. I scheduled an appt for infopass to get a stamp for my son on Sep.12th. Since it's hard to find an available date in our local office I decided to make it now. Will see what they tell me, if our bio will be anytime later than the 12th, I will just try to walk in same date as infopass. 

Will let you know how's it going after my call:)

Ok, just called them, they were not helpful and told me that I should expect the letter no earlier than the date on my NOA1, since it takes them at least a month to schedule bio appt.

Oh well, at least I tried... By the way she didn't want to connect me with Tier2 this time cuz I didn't reach 30 days of waiting since my NOA...

Do you think they will be able to do your biometrics while infopass, or you just want to go there to find out what's going on? I mean I'm going to infopass anyway on the 12th to get that stamp,  so will be able to ask abt bio as well.

No no I will go there just to find out what is going on, I dont think they'll schedule them during infopass.

 

The whole thing is so frustrating though. What used to take 4-5 months total, is now taking well over a year, and if you follow filers from June, July, and Aug of 2016, so many of them are getting interviews!

I know, read their threads today, it's unbelievable to wait over a year and get interviews. This whole process is so frustrating...Whish we could file 1.5/2 yrs earlier when it was fast and smooth...

Just found this article in my news. Also seems like it's not suppose to effect our kind of GC holders, but who knows, especially if they started randomly call for interviews?!
