Hi all,

After 16 months of waiting, i just received RFE notice update on my case status. I'm outside the country right now and im not back until march, but my wife will gather all the stuffs we have to sent them to the USCIS. so what will happen if they schedule for the interview, while im outside the country should i go back for the interview or reschedule ( if that happen after sending the RFE back) . Any  ideas would be appreciate.

Thank you.

What is the RFE asking for?

Congratulations on receiving the gc. What country are you from? You may find a better answer asking on that country’s message board.

My husband passed his ROC and naturalization interviews Dec 6. He got the 10 yr green card today and another saying the ROC file has been transferred to another office. I was surprised to see the 10 yr card so quickly.

Come on, oath ceremony letter...

Hello everyone. I am pretty new here so please pardon me. I got terrified after i saw a case status update pop up on my phone via the case tracker app few days ago. I rushed to check my status immediately. But, nothing changed! It's still the same. 'Case was transferred to local office' .  I have been very restless since then. Has this fake update happened to anyone before?

Thanks.

I got an update email a couple of days before my case was approved( One that I had received previously, just confirming they received my response for RFE). I'm starting to believe that when we get those generic email is because they touched our case. Hopefully you get  good news soon!
