Hello Everyone! So an update on my case..

I filed in August 2017 had my Biometrics in September 2017 no news until August 2018(dont remember the date) where I got my extension letter for the second time. And last night my case was updated. The image on the website is loaded below... Am I right in assuming that my ROC was approved and I will be getting my green card shortly?

Thank you! I'm so anxious about this and want this to go over smoothly without any complications. I don't think I will rest easy until I have the card in my hand. It says (when i called the helpline) that it could take 30 days for it to reach. My case has not gotten any more updates since yesterday, is there anything else I need to be doing during this time?  Just want to dot my i's and cross my t's! Really appreciate your guidance throughout this journey thank you so much ❤️

Has anyone got the message (Image 01)? I did not request for an update, so I am not sure what they're talking about. Also, under case status online tool, the status is still the same (image 02)

Honestly, I don't know if you haven't updated anything, but some people here have been getting weird updates (birth date, name etc updates) and got approvals soon after. You can certainly call and ask, just ask for Tier 2 officer since they tend to know more.

Thank you, I will try that. I went to get 551 stamp almost three weeks ago, and the officer told me that my application is in its final stage. He also informed me that you should get a decision within three weeks (give or take), so let's hope you're right and I get approval soon.

If he said that, that means it is probably in the final stage. Some officers say they don't have any updates, so let's cross fingers. When I went for an infopass, my officer said the same thing, that decision will come in less than 2 months and it actually came in 2 weeks. Look out for updates and keep us informed 🙂

I just received a notice that the USCIS would like to capture my biometric, AGAIN, which I already did on the last September.

I don't know if this is just me or a common strategy for USCIS to ease the pressure of backlogs, ha.

I don't think any updates provided today will be accurate, because today is the federal holiday and USCIS will be closed. Therefore any update provided today will be automated and could be a glitch in the system.

HI Everybody!,

I've follow this page for quite awhile already, and it has helped me a lot through out the ROC process. I am an August filer on Aug 21, beside my case was received at my local office on April 9 , and 18 months extension letter there nothing else. and Im about to travel out of the country next month for 3 months trip and i will be back in March and my extension letter expired in May. Q should i go to My local office to get i-551 stamp or my 18 months extension letter and my expired green card is enough to come back. I already used my 12 months extension letter to travel last year came back with no problem, but this time i want every one ideas what should i do . Thank you

You don’t need a stamp- the letter suffices as long as you don’t stay out of the country past the end date.
