Anyone else eventually get the official I-797 18 month extension letter? I submitted a "non delivery of notice" stating we only got the courtesy copy (non water marked) and they responded yesterday with the following..."U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) sent you a notice of receipt for the Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) that you filed.  Recently, you informed USCIS that you did not receive that receipt notice.  Per your request, we have mailed a duplicate receipt notice to the address provided with this inquiry.  Please confirm your current address with your local United States Postal Service office and follow the instructions on the notice."

I hope we're not getting a copy of the original I-751 receipt...I was clear in my request to them saying we needed the official 18 month extension notice.

Same thing happened to me. I didn't get 18 month extension and USCIS sent the same email to me. I m waiting for the mail to arrive to see what it is. They sent the email today,  so maybe next few days , I will get the mail

MY NOA is Aug 30 2017, It says that my case was transferred to local office on April 9 2018, anyone else in the same boat. I live in NYC and im a VSC filer. Anyone get approved yet from August filers. So frustrating that a process that should've taken 3-6 months now takes more than a yr.

Everyone in this groups case was “transferred to the local office” in April but it doesn’t mean anything. A couple August filers have been approved so far.

If worst comes to worst and you don’t receive the extension, you can simply go get a stamp at infopass

Yeah I thought about that. As long as I have the I-797c courtesy copy though there shouldn't be a problem. I guess most people get the infopass just in case they need to travel?

Do you think this is normal?

I don't know .. I feel like they didn't even touch my case. I called and rep was so unhelpful.  All he said case is "within normal processing time . I asked him if someone is working on my case ....he didn't answer.

I checked few numbers before and after me , all stuck at the same "case receive local office. "

I think all EAC315 cases are on an officer 's desk who does not believe in updating the online system. I mean there is nothing ,absolutely no update online. How do we know if someone is working on it or is it just sitting there somewhere.

I only received the non water marked version as well. When I contacted them about only getting the non water marked 18 month extention letter, they said make an Infopass appointment. I am just going to ask them to get me the stamp – my infopass appointment is next Tuesday. My number is EAC17335XXXXX and my card's expiration date is November 10th so it's coming up.

I submitted the online request and received the watermarked copy in the mail.
