USCIS number the same as the ELIS number?

Your USCIS number is your A# (or alien number). It is nine digits long, and it's listed on your green card, as well as your correspondences from USCIS.

It is not your ELIS number, do not confuse the two.

Sorry I didn't clarify correctly it's the USCIS online account number that I am referring to.

Is this the ELIS number or smth else?

Haha same!!

No bio appt yet for me.

It's really unfortunate that the entire process timespan has gone from a little over 4 months (two years ago) to +/- 13 months now. I am really hoping for a smooth process for everyone. Kept reading online that more and more people are getting called for an interview now too, which isn't really a major problem, but a pain to deal with and it delays it even more as now FOs are getting backlogged.

But lets look at it on the bright side. In just a little over 11 months, we can apply for naturalization :) Yay

Yeah the waiting sucks, but at the same time it doesn't really matter how long it takes....it's not like it stops you from doing anything (working/travelling etc).  That's how I'm choosing to think of it anyway haha.  Beats waiting back in my home country for my I-130!

You should be fine either way... If you do travel just make sure you have both your expired green card and extension letter.

I know right, I don't really wish to go for an interview, but as long as I had a waiver for AOS and got it without interview, it's a huge chance for an interview this time. But I was thinking if we gonna wait for more than a year and apply for naturalization, both cases will be consolidated and we just get interview once for both cases I believe...

Oh okay that may be a good way to look at it, if they consolidate the cases and have one joint interview for I751/N400.

You guys I have a question... I really should have thought this through better and renew the passport before filing the ROC. My Canadian passport was due to expire in October, so I went ahead and sent in for a renewal the same day I sent in my ROC package. I received my new passport today. But when I submitted my ROC, I sent a copy of the old (then valid) passport to USCIS. Should I send them a copy of the new updated one, or no?

I got my old one back too, but it's stamped cancelled

I don't think it would be necessary to send a copy of the new passport, as it isn't something they requested anyway.  If anything, you could just take both passports along with you to your biometrics appointment!

I changed passports between applying for my original visa and my interview, without notifying anyone, and it didn't make a difference.  I'd assume the same would apply in this case!
