My status finally changed today to "New Card Being Produced." Filed at VSC with case #eac17340xxxx. I filed Aug 31, 2017 and had biometrics in October 2017. For the longest time, it said my case was transferred to a local office on April 9th and today it finally changed. I don't have an n-400 pending.

Any idea on when I'll be receiving the physical card?

I got my case approved on Monday, approval letter on Saturday of the same week, physical card on Monday the week after.

On VJ specifically, I haven't noticed anyone. But for my fiscal day (WAC17314, total # of cases: 362) specifically, out of the 274 cases that got transferred ON 10/10/28 (I'm assuming the majority went to Texas like mine did): 119 have been approved, 42 got RFEs, and 113 are still pending.

I had mine transferred to Texas on Oct 10th, then had two (conflicting) messages that they sent me an RFE and that they ordered the production of my new card on November 10th, and the status changed to "Case was approved" yesterday.
I also contacted the lawyer who was supporting our AOS case 3 years ago, and she said sometimes status notifications are incorrect and that I should just wait and see what comes in the mail. So far nothing in the mail though.
I'm WAC17317.

apologies if this has been asked before now ... among those of you approved so far at CSC, did you guys have N400 pending? (I mean have you guys filed for N400 before you got approval?)

I think none of the approvals are combo applications. I am 751&400... At Houston. So still looking like several more months.

I agree, very rare only I-751 gets approved when it was on the final approval stage when N400 was just sent. So I think in that case they don't bother by combining two of them and approve the GC first...
