Hello,

I am currently waiting for my NOA2 and am trying to be on top of everything for the next steps in the process.

My current struggle is with my unabridged birth certificate.According to Home Affairs it will take anywhere between 8-24 weeks to get my unabridged birth certificate for a visa application soon. I applied 8 weeks ago and am still waiting..... Based on my timeline I will need my unabridged birth certificate by October/November latest and am quite anxious about relying on Home Affairs

In the meantime I am debating on using one of the many advertised services that expedite the process for a fee.

Has anyone use these services in the past? If so, which one? What was your experience?

Are these services legitimate and do they actually provide a 100% real unabridged birth certificate?

I cannot afford to get scammed on this. Price is not an issue, I just want to make sure the service is legit.

ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED!!! Please Please Please advise

If youbalready waited 8 weeks, continue to wait, don't waste more money. My friend who is also from South Africa got her in about 10-12 weeks, you should be getting it soon. Besides, you wouldn't want to have duplicate requests, which may, cause further delay. And you also have time on your side as you don't need it until possibly October.

I used http://www.bunnyhop.co.za/ for a Police Clearance Certificate. They were amazing!!

I have friends that used http://www.docassist.co.za/birth-certificates/

and had very good experience with this company.
