Effects of Russia cutting 75% of diplomats on K1 Visas?

Hello all, first time poster and long-time lurker. In light of this, do you think it will really slow down processing of K1 visas? My fiancee is Russian, we are waiting on our NOA2, and this whole thing is just depressing and worrying :-(  the changes are to take effect September 1st.

I think issuance of NOA2, RFE and denial will go on without any issues at the USCIS stage. However, these changes/sanctions might severely impact visa processing as a whole at the embassy stage Your fiancee will get her visa, just way later than her fellow counterparts around the world.
