I am petitioning for my fiance to move to USA from Mexico, what do i all have to include in the petition as far as forms? Do i just need the I-129F and the evidence or are there other forms? when do i have to show how much i make? What if i dont make enough?

I-129F currently costs $535. G-325A is no longer needed as it has been incorporated into the I-129F. I-129F should be submitted with various supporting documents as noted in the guide I linked you to.

 

When filing the I-129F, you wanna consider including a G-1145. That tells USCIS that you want to be notified via text message and e-mail when they have received your petition.

 

The I-134 Affidavit of Support is only needed at the K-1 interview stage at the local embassy and I-864 at the I-485 AOS stage. If you do not make enough, you can get a co-sponsor.

i am also curios about the address for my beneficiary. It is in mexico but it asks for the state. i dont want to be denied for incorrect paperwork. also how do i pay for the visa?

You can leave it blank and just fill in Province (if applicable....I don't know Mexico's addresses). It won't be denied for an address...an RFE at worse, but even that is highly unlikely so long as they can make sense of the address.

 

The visa application fee payment varies from embassy to embassy. It looks like it's pretty well explained for Mexico on their embassy's website: https://mx.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee/feeskvisa/. This fee won't come into play until after the I-129F is approved.

Before? I don't think so, but they will need one before they can get the visa (the visa will be attached to the passport once approved).

You each need to submit a letter of intent to marry. Samples are in the guide linked above. You sign yours, and your fiance signs theirs. They can print, sign, scan, and email to you to print it. That's all they need for intent to marry for the I-129F.

Since I cant get his letter of intent to marry with his signature, i will be going to see him in two weeks. I can wait to send it in then. But where would i file it? and How would I pay the fee because its different when your out of the country.

If you're going to see him, then that works too. Otherwise, I would say beg/borrow a printer & scanner to print, sign, and scan the one letter.

The fee can be paid by check or money order so long as it is drawn against a US bank. Check is preferred, IMHO, because it's easier to check when it's cashed (to see that they got it and are processing it before the NOA1 notification actually arrives).

A fax could work, yeah. USCIS just needs the signed letter from him (and a print-out is fine).

 

It doesn't have to be at a store, but that's usually the simplest option since many do passport style photos all the time. In my case, I had my fiancee send me a digital photo that met the passport requirements (she had it done by a shop abroad), then printed it out at Walgreens. The main issue for me was that Walgreens didn't have a 2"x2" photo option for their online order, so I printed 2 photos on a 4x6 (using http://www.idphoto4you.com/ to generate the 4x6) and cut it out. Otherwise, I think any shop would have just printed the 2x2 version directly if I went there in person. I'm just lazy and work in IT.

 

Or if you're going to be there, just get it done there and hand it to you. It is simpler (albeit more expensive for the flight! haha)

I had this trip planned, so its not that expensive. Im worried that i dont know how to send it to while im in mexico or where to send it from once i get the paper and letter from my fiance. And how to send the money. Thank you so much for all the answers
