K1 Visa delivery wait times

Hey guys!

My K-1 status changed to "Issued" on the 27th of July and I still haven't heard anything from the courier.

It's now been two full working days (+a Saturday, couriers work on Saturdays, right?) and half of Monday.

I expected to have some sort of notification today but nothing... I believe they're supposed to either send an SMS or email.

Anyone in a similar situation? How long did you have to wait between "Issued" and the courier notification?

The case tracker hasn't changed since it changed to Issued, so it looks like the embassy is all done with the case!

I'm assuming I'll hear something within 2-3 days, but I'm getting impatient now that I'm in the final stages!

Thanks!

It's been 1 full business day since the CEAC status changed. "Issued" still requires them to print the visa, attach it to your passport, and hand to the courier for delivery. I wouldn't count weekends in that process as the embassy doesn't work on weekends (idk if UK's courier provides delivery on weekends, sorry).

Patience, young grasshopper. :)

Mine changed to 'issued' on 28th July, so hopefully I'll get an email tomorrow then if you got yours today.

Yesssss! It arrived around 14:00. The delivery company DX gives no delivery window or tracking on the shipment.

Just "It'll get delivered between 9:00 and 17:00", and the tracker they have just said "We have received your... estimated delivery date is 01/08/2017" and never changed ever.

Also - the "BBE" (Big Brown Envelope) people have mentioned on these forums was in fact white, so that was interesting!

GOT MY VISA THOUGH! YAY! :D:D

edit: My timeline has now been fully updated. Flight on Saturday, woo!

Is your's still in ready status? We were approved on Aug 1st and the status was "ready" and then on Aug 3rd the status changed to "application received". I was reading that others experienced the same, while others had their status change to "issued" within a couple of days. Seems to be inconsistent based on my reading on VJ.
