I was going to say "Add me to the interview waiting list" but I see we are already on it....because OUR I-130 GOT APPROVED TODAY BY CSC ALHAMDULILLAH !!!!!

But, we are not filing a K3, so that can be removed...CR1 only :blush: After everything we have been through, I want my husband to have that greencard ASAP! :thumbs:

Kiya that is wonderful news!!! MABROUKULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame you in filing just for the IR1/CR1 either. May the next part be speedy!!!! I think someone posted in one of the forums tips on how to get the back and forth with NVC paperwork done quicker. Something about generating forms, but I'm not sure, I didn't read in detail.

Shukran, we are on cloud nine right now! I was really worried because the file I sent in was 3 1/2 inches thick...I thought for sure they would take forever to even process it.

Side note: I have a friend who used to be head of security at the embassy when wackenhut was in charge of security there. He says that he really feels they will most likely move interviews to the embassy in Rabat. Of course this is only his opinion, but he said the embassy has way better facility to be much more secure which is where they should be doing interviews anyway.

He said I will bet you my next paycheck that they move interviews to Rabat. I just hope whatever they decide to do that they decide it soon. There is going to be a HUGMONGOUS backlog for interviews as it already is.

I can't even imagine them still being closed when we get close to an interview date. I will be speaking to our attorney to see if there is anyway to request it be moved to another location, but since this is an immigrant petition/application I bet we are just stuck until it is all sorted.

I pray for everyone in limbo right now, that this will all be sorted out soon and interviews will resume.

I gotta admit.. I am alittle frustrated..

AS ANYONE gotten a Visa in Hand from Egypt in 2007???!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess moody....... but thats it???

Thanks for the updates, Moody ! :thumbs: I was wondering what happened to chococat... glad to hear the happy news.

So...... we have three graduations to the Visas in Hand thread -- congrats to lion_lioness, chococat and lizluv !!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Hang in there, Deemabrouk -- Egypt is notoriously slow, but insha'allah your day is coming soon. I know the delay is maddening, but stay strong -- hopefully you're done with the hardest part, and every day that passes makes you one day closer to being reunited.
