Do i have right to get mad?

On our last vacation i asked my fiance to bring with him all the evidence of our continous relationships, such as phone cards, money transfer reciept, some important pictures he said ok got it got it! then when were together i asked him wheres the stuff i asked him to bring he gave me one money transfer reciept yeah just one , i said Never mind we still have plenty of time. We got apporoved last Jan.23rd then i started reminding him what he need to prepare from 134-affidavit of support to supporting documents, finally after two months of completing he said all is complete and ready to send me hmmm im impressed then i got his package last week, guess what whats inside the package?

used phone cards- 16pieces(this makes me really mad) yeah thats it for more than two years of phone converstaion, we talk everyday for 2 to 5 times a day however he only saved 16pieces

pay stub- one yesssssssss just one

letter from the bank- he sent me bank statement instead

employer's letter- he said he already have it on his application

i didn't ask him to send me money transfer reciept again to lessen his paperworks i just order to my bank to send me copy of remmitance from his account.

Now my interview is approaching and i feel im not yet ready, although we have lots of pictures together, hundreds of snail mail letters, emails, chat logs i hope this will be enough...Our application just got lucky they approved it even it was incomplete maybe USCIS just considered that he was currently deployed in iraq, but this time i wanted to make it sure that our papers is complete but i guess it will not goin to happen coz it takes 30days before his package make it to my home add.now i cannot do anything but to wait and see.

I love my fiance so much and i know he needs me specially taking care of his stuff but sometimes he gets me irrirated because of his attitude easy go lucky

btw i always told him to visit vj so he can have idea about the process but all he did is ask me everyday whats the news in vj? geeezzzzzzzz

All I can really say is, I am sorry, he should know what he has to send if you or he has come here. Yes, I would say you have the right to be very upset. It sounds like you all are very serious and mean much to each other. But what he did was not take it serious at all. Really saying that you mean nothing to him. That is silly, stupid, rude and crazy what he did if he really does love you and want to be with you.

Tell him, he better hope you do not get approved for your visa, because when you do make it there you are gonna beat his butt! lol It still sounds like you have a good amount of evidence. I've heard lots of people say that they just took a quick glance at it...like maybe 30 seconds. But as we all know each embassy and CO is different. Hope all goes well for you!

I know it can be frustrating when you think something is really important (and it is!) and your partner doesn't take it seriously and lets you do all the worrying. It sounds like you have a good amount of evidence though and hopefully you'll be fine. Good luck at your interview!

thanks for all the reply guys and for the goodluck too... we knew each other for 2 and half years and i know he loves me no doubt about that

the thing is he seems hate paperworks he rather order something into internet and send me, than to do his homework im glad his mother and brother are there ready to back him up and very much willing to help us to finish this journey...this is the very first time i got mad at him i turned off my cp for 3days i did't go online i know this is just a childish thing to do but i feel this is too much and im over to the top.

It may not be enough proof as you wanted more and would want it to be "more" complete, but just hope and pray the CO/interviewer will not ask what you don't have. Don't get too upset. In a relationship, aside from the love that you have for each other, understanding and acceptance (all the faults, the good and the bad) is also important. You're not married yet, and you're getting upset/irritated in one character or attitude that your fiance have. Think what would it be like marrying this person, can you accept him 24 hours a day? For how long? You both need to adjust and compromise to make everything especially your relationship work. He did try and send you what he have or what he could get for your interview. Think positive!

Thanks for the advice Helen, i understand what you mean...im stuck with him and we stuck together and sure i will still want to pursue the marriage because i love him and we need each other, thats why im doin my best to be us together i just need a little cooperation from him, anyway this not only for me its for us, I believe no one is perfect but how can you correct someone's mistake if you just accept his fault right away its better to correct him now so it will not happen again i just gave him a little time to think and realize what he did and for me also i just needed to cool off ,we both waited the time we can be together and now its almost here....oooopppsss goodluck also to you lapit na

Good luck on your interview, i know you can make it. As for me here, my fiance is currently in Iraq. I reminded him twice about the I-134, about the latest ITR. I didn't have it until now, but i believe that he is going to send it to me before i fly down to Manila. Lucky you because you are able to chat with him online. Eversince my fiance' was on training last year until now we don't go to chat. I only got like three emails from him since training. But when he got to Iraq he calls me three times a month or four. He said he is very busy and i can understand him, he didn't even have time to reply my emails but i still email him, at least he reads them. I sent him cards and packages, i don't get his reply thru snail mail, and that's still okay because i know he got them. Thankfully, his parents have been helping me from from RFE to Approval of NOA2, they're the ones receving the notices since my fiance' was out to training that time. All in all i am not complaining...i support him for what he does in Iraq.

Well yes you have the right to get upset. Again you seem to have enough evidence, sure you can make it through the consul. Good Luck and God Bless.

Try to get him to understand that this is serious and it's better to be safe than sorry and send you wayyy more than you need to get by with no problems.

I'm sure you will do fine. If you get an AR for lacking documents (BUT I hope you won't), then you can blame him big time, then for sure he will move his butt to get all the required documents to you ASAP... (JOKE)... You will do just fine, just prepare and make your documents presentable to the CO. And thanks for your warm wish too!

With all due respect, your frustrations seem better suited in private between you and your beloved. you pretty much covered all the things that can served as ur proof of relationship and i guess need not to worry...it's all in my consul's mind and his judgement and better expect the unexpected. FYI: i got almost 4 kilos of proof with me during my interview still ended on AR. I have everything they want complete and organize is just they want to perform some background checking.

Oh yeah i read you story in other forum,i've been a long time member there but i prepare to read than to post, i would like to have my documents as complete as i can coz it will add so much confidence in me, if they don't feel and they still want to review or ask something for me its ok coz i know i did my best to gather and complete my documents

i will not have regrets in the end and probably i will not say to myself if i only prepared that before my interview. anyway hope you can get out in the AR jail soon.

ps i like your advice about expect the unexpected from other forum.
