Trump has made several comments that seem to advocate violence. Of course he was just messin' around like most leaders do with this sort of thing. Most Presidents have made a video of a mock attack on someone that criticizes them. And told the world their followers are so loyal that they could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and not lose any voters.

Trump seems to deal with opposition in the same way his fascist counterparts did and do. Having said that, he was right about that last sentence. He could commit any crime, and his minions would defend him to their death, hissy fits and all. That sort of blind devotion is the stuff Maduro's and Jong Un's dreams are made of.

Let's look at things from an alternative fact point of view: It's all Obama's fault, and it's the Dems fault that Trump couldn't get a majority, although he had 53 votes to play with.

Our President has no idea what he is doing. He has no plan, he just does everything as it comes. The health care bill fiasco tells you this.

 

He's fired his FBI director, he's threatened to fire his Attorney General, he's fired his communication director, he's fired his chief of staff. He's constantly shooting from the hip, has no clue how to be a leader.

The health care fiasco will remain as a testament to the ineptitude of the GOP. We now know that they all lied to the American people for eight years, and during the tens of times they tried to repeal the ACA, they were doing so out of spite - they never had a proposal, an idea, a blue print, or a sketch of a bill. It was all lip service, and many people swallowed it whole. What a disappointment.

The whole ACA repeal and replace wasn't about trying to make a health care system better, it was about Obama's name being attached to it. They had no bill drawn up in seven years because it was easier to blow a dog whistle to their base.

You stated Trump has the house and Senate at his will. That is not true at all. Half of the Republicans in the senate and house are back stabbers. It's interesting many of these back stabbers voted for repeal when Obama was in to appease their constituency when they knew it wouldn't pass but now that there is a president that will do the right thing they will find any excuse to oppose it. They are traitors to their constituents who voted for them to repeal Obamacare and they are traitors to this country.

No they opposed it particularly Collins and Murkowski because it was a series of terrible bills crafted without any form of leadership from the White House. These bills were never in committee, in hearings or up for debate on the Senate floor because our President is so desperate for a win.

Just to add, all the bills Republicans and Trump have come up with have only gotten around 15-20% approval whereas now the majority of Americans like the ACA. I don't think I ever saw the ACA ever get as low of an approval rating as these GOP bills.
