K1 Administrative Processing

My fiancé had her interview with the consulate in Bogota and they told that as long as she has not overstayed her tourist visa that she would approve the visa, but could not review the dates on her visits during the interview because their system was down.  I counted the days on all of her visits and she did not violate her tourist visa.  Her status now says it's in administrative processing.  Can anyone shed any light on this with similar experiences?  How long we should expect before her K1 visa is issued?

i believe what i've seen from other posters right before they issue the visa it goes into AP so i don't think you should worry.

Everyone goes through AP. Only difference is the length of the AP. However, when it changes to 'AP - non-immigrant', that's a good sign that the visa is in the process of getting issued.

Yup, every single case goes through AP. Usually it's a few days, sometimes weeks, rarely months, and very rarely years.
