National Visa center required documents.. please help

Hello everyone,

 

I'm the US citizen and I'm petitioning my father who lives in Colombia. Last week I received the NVC welcome letter informing me of the next steps to follow. they also included the document cover sheet and a list of required documents. for 1. photocopies of supporting documents: valid unexpired passport, birth certificate, court records, etc... (Are those documents required from the beneficiary , my dad? 2. signed affidavit of support = proof of US status, petitioner civil documents(what is that?) proof of relationship (only for 1-864A) is that the USCIS approved I-131 ???? please someone help me

Hi,

1. Yes;

2. Photocopy of your passport, birth certificate. If will be signed I-864A, you have to include your marriage certificate.

 

P.S. When you attach documents, make sure, that your personal details would be deleted.
